This status report of the Agri-Nature Center Dahlia projects is focused on the blooms. As can be seen in the gallery below a lot has changed since the plantings in April, May and June.
We have a mystery on our hands. The only dahlias blooming in lavender field plot are dahlias Spartacus and Harvey Koop, but we didn’t plant them. The ones we planted are not expected to bloom until September. So where did they come from. Making the mystery even more interesting is the fact Spartacus is the parent of Harvey Koop.
