There are several Dahlia projects going on at the Larry P. Abraham Agri-Nature Center. The goals of the Center are too numerous to list here, but their website is quite comprehensive. The Center is located at 4920 Rio Grande Blvd, Los Ranchos, NM 87107, on the east side of Rio Grande Blvd. The Agri-Nature Center is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. It isĀ  an open space and the Center lands can be accessed through walking and bike trails during daylight hours. The goals of the Center are too numerous to list here, but their website is quite comprehensive.

There are three Dahlia projects going on at the Center. Master Gardener Bill Shen has planted two raised beds of Dahlias for educational purposesĀ  and has a Dahlia project by the fence. The New Mexico Dahlia Society has two plots in the Community Garden that will be planted after the Dahlia tuber sale.

Master Gardner Bill Shen is developing a plot next to the fence. Visitors to the Center will be greeted by wall of Dahlias when they bloom. There may be plans for a raised bed next season.

Bill Shen has planted Dahlias in the two raised planters seen along the center line of the image. They will be used by students participating in the Explora Summer Camp program, June July and August 2025.

These two rows are the site of the New Mexico Dahlia Society Community Garden plot at The Agri-Nature Center. The Dahlias will be planted after the Annual tuber sale.
