The Volunteers

The goal was to move tables, chairs, carts, glassware along with any and all things needed to have a flower show from the ABQ Garden Center to Expo New Mexico. Everything was loaded into multiple vehicles provided by the volunteers. The transport fleet was comprised of pickup trucks, SUVs, a minivan and cars. The Volunteers were in good cheer and loading the vehicles went smoothly.

The caravan entered the Expo New Mexico fairgrounds and snaked their way around to the building where horticulture events will take place. Unloading went as smoothly as the loading. There was much to do after unloading after which volunteers began prepping the space for the show by organizing, setting up tables and cleaning. The New Mexico State Fair runs from September 4th to September 14.
