Work on the Dahlia Garden in the Albuquerque Garden Center

One dahlia died at the Garden Center. The drip system may have had a faulty emitter. The plant was at the front edge of the garden and may not have had as much supplemental perlite and mushroom compost as the other dahlia received. It was replaced with a potted plant – Eldon Wilson. Those flowers can be used at the September 28 Dahlia Festival for the special arrangement featuring Eldon Wilson.
